Your day begins with a morning pickup from your hotel in Moshi or Arusha and a scenic drive to Marangu Gate (1,860m). After registration, you start your hike through the lush rainforest, home to blue monkeys, birds, towering trees, and fresh mountain air. The trail gradually ascends as you walk for about 3–4 hours toward Mandara Hut (2,720m), where you’ll stop for lunch and enjoy views of the Maundi Crater. After a short rest and exploration, begin your descent back to Marangu Gate, enjoying the peaceful forest surroundings along the way. Your driver will be waiting to take you back to your hotel, arriving in the late afternoon ending an unforgettable Kilimanjaro experience.
