Trip Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Depart from Arusha in the morning and head to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. Enjoy a full-day game drive across the park’s diverse habitats, spotting lions, giraffes, zebras, and a variety of bird species. A picnic lunch will be served in the park amidst the wildlife. In the evening, check in at your lodge or camp near Tarangire for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Tarangire – Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, depart Tarangire and drive toward Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, enjoy scenic views of the Great Rift Valley and Maasai villages. Descend into Ngorongoro Crater for an afternoon game drive, witnessing the dense wildlife population including lions, buffalo, zebras, and the rare black rhino. After an exciting day, head to your lodge on the crater rim for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Ngorongoro – Serengeti National Park
Begin the day with an optional early morning game drive in Ngorongoro or breakfast with a view of the crater. Then drive to Serengeti National Park (approximately 4–5 hours), stopping for photos and lunch along the way. Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon game drive to explore the park’s endless plains and spot predators, giraffes, and large herds of wildebeest. Dinner and overnight stay at your Serengeti lodge or camp.
Day 4: Full-Day Serengeti Safari
Rise early for a full-day Serengeti game drive. Experience the thrill of observing lions, cheetahs, elephants, and abundant wildlife during the golden morning light. Enjoy a bush breakfast in the heart of the plains, followed by further exploration of different areas in the Serengeti. Picnic lunch will be served in the park. Return to your lodge or camp in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Serengeti – Arusha
On your final day, enjoy an optional early morning game drive before breakfast. Afterward, check out and begin the journey back to Arusha. The drive takes approximately 6–7 hours, with scenic stops along the way, or you can opt for a light aircraft transfer for a faster return. Arrive in Arusha in the evening for drop-off at your hotel or airport, concluding your 5-day safari adventure.
